Shutterfly

CASE STUDY

Bringing a Beloved Brand into Focus.

Support a full visual rebrand of Shutterfly, bringing fresh energy to a legacy brand while maintaining consistency with evolving creative direction.

THE APPROACH

As Creative Director of Photography, I led the development of the brand’s new visual direction: crafting mood-boards, building shot lists, and overseeing both production planning and on-set execution.

I partnered with internal teams and external collaborators to define and evolve the look and feel across lifestyle and product photography. From lighting choices to casting to prop styling, every decision was guided by a desire to make the imagery feel elevated, approachable, and emotionally resonant.

Throughout my time at Shutterfly, I led multiple campaigns and refreshes, adapting the visual identity as brand goals evolved, while keeping consistency in quality and tone.

THE RESULT

My work shaped Shutterfly’s core visual assets across web, email, product pages, and marketing campaigns. I helped roll out a modernized look that supported product growth and brand storytelling, while laying a strong creative foundation for future evolution.
